4 Food Network Chefs Score Daytime Emmy Nominations

There's reason to celebrate tonight!

May 25, 2021

Congratulations are in order for four people you surely know and love: Valerie Bertinelli, Giada De Laurentiis, Ina Garten and Michael Symon have all earned coveted Daytime Emmy nominations! They’re among six finalists in the Outstanding Culinary Host category — alongside Edward Delling-Williams and Sophia Roe) — but only one will take home the trophy when the awards are broadcast on June 25 on CBS.

Valerie’s nomination is thanks to her work on Valerie’s Home Cooking, which is currently airing its brand-new twelfth season right now, while Giada and Michael are recognized for shows they self-shot during quarantine: Giada at Home 2.0 and Symon’s Dinners Cooking Out, respectively. Always the hostess with the mostess, Ina has earned a nomination for her fan-favorite series Barefoot Contessa: Cook Like a Pro once again this year.
