We haven’t even handed out the Halloween candy yet, but we’re already looking ahead to the holiday season. Today we’re kicking off the countdown to our first-ever original feature film, Candy Coated Christmas, coming soon to discovery+.

Set in the idyllic fictional town of Peppermint Hollow, this story brings together Molly and Noah, played by Molly McCook and Aaron O’Connell, respectively. They find themselves in an unusual situation as their pasts, present and futures collide to create an unexpected outcome just in time for Christmas. There’s a greenhouse growing fresh mint, tons of snow, a fancy Christmas Eve party and, of course, tons of sweet holiday treats courtesy of the lovable Bee, played by our own Ree Drummond.

Bee owns the too-cute bakery in town and is known for whipping up her famous peppermint mochas and serving seasonal treats like Mint Brownie Bites. (Psst! You can get the recipe right here — it’s from Ree, not Bee!) This will be Ree’s first time acting in a movie, and she’s all too excited to join the cast of Candy Coated Christmas.

Mark your calendars for the premiere of Candy Coated Christmas, streaming only on discovery+ starting November 19.
